Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • I, the corresponding author, am authorized by all of my co-authors to submit this manuscript.
  • Gather the information about the manuscript:
    (a)For all authors: first name, last name, postal address, e-mail address, affiliation, etc;
    (b) A full manuscript title  and an abbreviated titile (no more than 8 words) for the header column;
    (c) Manuscript abstract.
    (d) Contact information (name, e-mail address and affiliation) of suggested and/or excluded reviewers (if any).

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before the consideration for publication of another journal. (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  • The manuscript, or any part thereof, is in no way a violation of any existing original or derivative copyright.
  • The manuscript contains nothing obscene, indecent, objectionable or libelous.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document format, or processed using the Latex with the specified class file.
  • When available, the URLs to access references online are provided, including those for open access versions of the reference. The URLs are ready to click (e.g.,
  • Supplemental files are submitted in accordance with instructions and information is given on a separate page at the end of the main manuscript.

Author Guidelines

1. Publication Ethics

  • JIIAE follows ethical standards to maintain public trust in our publications and ensure academic integrity in a responsible manner for public benefit and research development.

  • Authorship:   Individuals who have made substantive intellectual contributions to the research are qualified to make submission as authors. The research must be original and should not  be under consideration for review or publication elsewhere. Substantive contributions include designing a scientific investigation, acquisition, analysis and interpretation of the data, participating in drafting, reviewing or revising the manuscript for intellectual content and being accountable for the integrity of the research work from a whole. All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an acknowledgment section. Those individuals who provided purely technical help, writing assistance, general support, financial and material support should be acknowledged. Once the submitted papers pass through the double blind review, they will be sent for edition and layout creation. Authors cannot withdraw their papers at this stage.

  • Corresponding Author:   The corresponding author is the one individual who takes primary responsibility for communication with the journal during the manuscript submission, peer review, and publication process. He/She needs to ensure that all the journal's administrative requirements for submission and publication are properly completed. The corresponding author should be available to respond to editorial queries in a timely way, and respond to critiques of the published work in case any questions should arise after publication.

  • Co-author:   They should contribute in the research work, take responsibility for the content of all appropriate portions of the manuscript, acknowledge that they have reviewed and approved the final manuscript. They are also expected to be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of any part of the applicable research.

  • Conflict Interest:   A Conflict of Interest exists when judgment regarding the research is influenced by financial gain or personal relationships. All authors are required to disclose any financial, personal or other associations that may influence their work potentially. Authors are responsible for disclosing financial support from the industry or other conflicts of interest that might bias the interpretation of results. Editors and reviewers who make judgment on manuscripts should recuse themselves from editorial decisions if they have conflicts of interest or relationships that pose potential conflicts related to articles under consideration.

  • Plagiarism:   JIIAE is committed to publish original and unpublished manuscripts to maintain academic integrity. The corresponding author must confirm that all of the other authors have approved the final manuscript. Authors must assure that the manuscript submitted is not being considered for review or publication in whole or in part elsewhere. Manuscripts found to have been published elsewhere or under review will be suspended.

  • Citation Manipulation:   Citation manipulation refers to the activity of publishing articles primarily for the purpose to increase an author's number of citations. Authors should abide by the publication ethics guidelines and JMTI is strongly opposed to this malicious practice.


2. General Information

  • All manuscripts should be written in English -- British or American as long as consistency is observed.
  • All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an acknowledgments section. Examples of those who might be acknowledged include a person who provided purely technical help, writing assistance, or a department chairperson who provided only general support. Financial and material support should also be acknowledged.
  • Authors are responsible for disclosing financial support from the industry or other conflicts of interest that might bias the interpretation of results.
  • If complicated statistical data are provided, the authors may be requested to submit a statement issued by a certified statistician regarding the validity of methods used.

3. Manuscript Template

  • For LaTex writers, Please click here to download the author kit. You need send the whole submission work using a folder in a zip achieve.
  • For Microsoft Word writers, please prepare your paper by using the template, or make it in a free style, but the following items should be clearly indicated: names, affiliations and emails of all authors (including co-authors).Don’t forget to upload all your non-text contents including graphs and figures as additional zip-achieved metadata at the 3rd step of the submission process whenever you use the MS-word template or write in a free style.

4. Submission Steps

  • If you have an account in JIIAE paper submission system, login onto it, and submit you paper while paying attention to the instructions carefully.
  • If you don't have an account, please make registration here first to enter our submission system. Then do the same as required above.

5. Peer Review Process

  • Manuscipts submitted for the publication in JIIAE will be reviewed anonymously by at least two independent experts in the particular area. The author will receive the evaluation results within a month and decisions will be made whether the manuscript would be accepted or rejected.

The personal information registered in this submission system will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to other parties.
